Data Idols are working with a fast-growing technology organisation to hire a Solutions Engineer. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role focused on delivering impactful, data-driven solutions to real-world business challenges.The Opportunity

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll operate at the crossroads of data engineering, analytics, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be embedded directly into client teams, helping to scope business needs, define solution architecture, and implement scalable data products that deliver measurable value.This role offers the chance to bridge technical expertise with commercial outcomes-perfect for someone who enjoys designing and deploying solutions while partnering closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Engaging directly with clients to understand their business problems and technical constraintsBuilding prototypes and production-grade systems using Python, SQL, and modern cloud platformsSupporting deployment and integration of solutions within client environmentsActing as a trusted advisor, helping clients understand the impact and value of data solutionsSkills and Experience

Proven experience in a data engineering, analytics, or solutions architecture roleStrong proficiency in Python and SQLAbility to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly languageExcellent client communication skills, with a track record of successful delivery in consulting or professional servicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data tooling is a strong plusUnderstanding of the software development lifecycle and data product designIf you’re excited about solving high-impact problems and collaborating with diverse teams to bring data solutions to life, we’d love to hear from you.
