About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst / Solutions Developer to join our office-based team in Kettering. This role is primarily compliance-focused (around 80% of the workload), involving the analysis of regulatory and business data to ensure internal standards and external compliance requirements are consistently met.
The remaining portion of the role involves broader business data analysis, identifying trends, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. It will also involve development of web-based solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities

- Extract, analyse, and interpret compliance and business data to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare and present analytical reports for management and stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and data visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, or other tools.
- Monitor and maintain data quality across systems and datasets.
- Support compliance and business data projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 
Technical Skills and Knowledge

- Strong experience with SQL (SQL Server essential; Snowflake desirable).
- Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- (Desirable) Understanding of Python, Business Objects, or other analytics tools.
- Solid grasp of relational databases, data modelling, and data storage structures.
- Experience working within a compliance or regulatory data environment is beneficial but not essential.

 
Other Skills and Experience

- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience (minimum 2 years in a data/analytics role).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
