Solutions Architect (Systems and Cloud)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Solutions Architect with a strong background in cloud services and infrastructure in enterprise-level solution design. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and architecting solutions aligned with customer business goals and technical strategies. You will work closely with engineers, products, and business stakeholders to drive innovation and digital transformation.Responsibilities

Understand customer requirement and evaluate and recommend the technical solution to fit the requirementAnalyse technical infrastructure problems, challenges, and complexities for private, hybrid or multi-cloud architecture and recommend improvementsDesign and architect cloud solutions and services to address customer business requirements and present them customer business executives or stakeholdersPromote the adoption of new technologies that will offer benefits to the customer’s businessEngage with principal vendors to understand their products, solutions, and pricing to drive a solution for the customerPresent Proof of Concepts/Proof of Value and solution demonstrationsProvide assistance to the sales team for pre-sales activityProvide guidance and assistance to project engineers regarding the solution design during project implementationAlign solutions with enterprise architecture standards, IT governance, and compliance policiesCreate a solution design document and Bill of Materials for customer requirementRequirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 3 years of related presales and/or solution design experienceWorking experience in the virtualization domain and/or hands-on working experience in VMware, Nutanix, VDI, Public Cloud IaaS, Public Cloud PaaS, Public Cloud DBaaS, Kubernetes and/or OpenShiftWorking experience with Microsoft Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Failover Clustering, MS SQL High Availability, M365 and/or Hyper-VWorking experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MySQL, Ansible, and/or shell scriptingWorking experience with Azure Cloud, AWS, or any public cloud providerKnowledge of x86 Servers, SAN Storage, backup solution, basic datacenter networking and network security is a mustConversant with the current virtualization and cloud products and solutionsSelf-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, passionate on problem solving and willingness in picking up new skillsetsExcellent problem-solving and communication ..... full job details .....
