Solutions ArchitectGuildford/Hybrid - Up to £55,000 + Car AllowanceWe are looking for a Solutions Architect to join a growing and highly successful IT services company based near GuildfordThis is a client-facing role for someone who can bridge the gap between technology and business. You will need a strong technical understanding, but this is not a hands-on delivery role. Equally, this isn''t a traditional sales positionYou will work with a portfolio of SME clients, getting to understand their businesses, their current technology and where they want to go next. You will help shape their IT strategy, identify areas for improvement and scope the projects needed to get them thereThe role has three main areas: Running regular strategic IT roadmap meetings with clientsScoping and costing IT projects before handing them over to the technical delivery teamSupporting new business opportunities and helping clients identify where technology can improve their business You will need enough technical knowledge to look at an existing environment and work out what a solution should look like, what technology is required and the likely time and cost involved in delivering itThe majority of clients are Microsoft based, so good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure is important.
