Solution Developer

The RoleWe''re looking for a Solution Developer to join Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, playing a key role in delivering growth and innovation through New Product Development (NPD).This is a hands-on, technically focused role responsible for leading end-to-end NPD projects within the construction sector - from early customer insight and concept development through to testing, manufacture and launch. Working across our Gyproc and Isover brands, you''ll help identify how the construction market is evolving and translate those insights into practical, scalable solutions.The role is split approximately 50% office-based and 50% laboratory/site-based, with regular interaction with customers, suppliers and external testing facilitiesWhat you''ll be doingLeading New Product Development projects from concept to launch, aligned to the SGIS innovation calendarAnalysing construction market trends and customer needs to identify new solution opportunitiesGathering customer insight from house builders, main contractors and architects, and translating this into clear technical specificationsDesigning, developing and testing formulations, materials and systems in laboratory environmentsBuilding and testing full-scale prototypes (e.g. wall and ceiling systems) to evaluate real-world performanceWorking closely with manufacturing teams, both internal and external, to define what "good" looks like and ensure solutions are manufacturable at scaleCollaborating with suppliers to align quality, ..... full job details .....
