Solution Architect (Application Rationalisation) - Azure/Salesforce/SAP Commerce Cloud/Databricks £500 per day Inside IR35 | 12 to 24 month contract | Remote with occasional travel to Midlands or North West offices A well known national builders merchant is recruiting a Solution Architect for a major application rationalisation programme, consolidating a large and fragmented Legacy estate onto a defined set of strategic platforms. This is a hands-on architecture role with genuine decommissioning targets, not a governance seat. You will own the target state and transition architecture, define the integration and data approach, and sequence the retirement of Legacy applications. Target Platform Landscape Kerridge (ERP), Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud (CRM), SAP Commerce Cloud with OCC APIs (eCommerce), Microsoft Azure and Azure Integration Services, Databricks and Power BI, Workday (HCM), ServiceNow (ITSM), Entra ID and Okta (Identity), Mendix (Low Code), Celonis (Process Intelligence and Automation), Microsoft 365 and Teams Premium, Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk Enterprise Security (SIEM), Bottomline PTX and SPS Global (Payments and Billing), Cisco Meraki (Connectivity). PIM (build versus buy), EDI (live RFP), Payroll and Mobile Development Platform remain open decisions that you will help shape.
