Solution Architect

The Role: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solution-level designs. Contribute to ongoing development of client''s architecture standards, patterns, and governance. Essential skills/knowledge/experience Experience andamp; Domain Knowledge Significant experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex organisations. Experience applying standard architectures and patterns within solution designs. Experience in Energy or Utilities sector architecture. Experience in or exposure to System Operators (eg, ESO, DNOs, TOs). Experience in power system SCADA/EMS/ADMS, IT/OT integration for power systems application for electrical utilities. Knowledge of industry standard communication protocols such as IEC101, IEC 104, IEC870.5, ICCP/TASE.2. Knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI) model and data transmission and communication. Technical Skills Operational Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA and other operational technology components in Electricity industry. Cybersecurity: Knowledge of implementing cybersecurity controls for operational technology, including network segmentation, Firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Integration Skills: Experience in integrating operational technology systems with enterprise IT systems for seamless data flow and analytics.
