Solution Architect (Public Sector / Government Programme)SFIA Level: 5/6 Location: Telford (2 days per week initially, reducing to 2 days every 2 weeks once established) Duration: 6 months Rate: 625- 675 per day Clearance: SC EligibleOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a large-scale public sector transformation programme. This role will play a key part in driving solution design and delivery across a complex application modernisation initiative.You will take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture, working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and successfully transitioned into live service.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the solution design throughout the full delivery lifecycleLead application modernisation initiatives within the wider programmeDrive the development and documentation of high-quality solution designsEnsure all solutions align with architecture governance and best practicesCollaborate with agile delivery teams and architects across all phasesAct as the technical authority, working through design decisions and challengesEngage confidently with senior stakeholders (internal and external)Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providersOversee technical problem resolution and ensure delivery aligns to agreed specificationsSkills and ExperienceProven experience as a Solution Architect within complex programmesStrong background in application modernisation and cloud ..... full job details .....
