Solution Architect£650 a day (Inside IR35)Manchester (1-2 days on-site)6 MonthsA solution architect is required for 6 months to support the portfolio of projects designed to deliver improved researcher experience across the research life cycle. The role will support projects in assessing user requirements and advising on the most appropriate application and technology solutions to meet them whilst maintaining integrity with overall Enterprise Architecture principles.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment of requirements including Functional and Non-Functional requirementsHigh level design of solutions including data flows and integrationsLow level design of solutionsEngaging with the Technical Design Authority to understand assurance requirements and ensure that designs are compliant with theseWorking with the Enterprise Architect (Research) to develop the overall Research Administration Domain blueprintWorking with the Research Enablement Portfolio team to provide guidance on appropriate solutions.Key RelationshipsThe role will report via the Enterprise Architect and be functionally aligned to the Architecture and Analysis teamThe key customer for the role (determining priorities) will be the Research Enablement Portfolio team.
