Our client is a specialist engineering and fabrication company based in Harwich, delivering bespoke manufactured solutions to customers across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a SolidWorks CAD Designer to join their design team.The Opportunity:Working closely with manufacturing and production teams, you''ll be responsible for producing detailed CAD designs and technical documentation for fabricated steelwork, sheet metal products and acoustic enclosure projects.This role offers the opportunity to work on varied, bespoke projects from concept through to manufacture within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Create 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorksProduce BOMs, fabrication packs and production documentationDesign sheet metal components and fabricated steel structuresSupport projects from design through to manufactureLiaise with workshop and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturableMaintain drawing revisions and technical documentationProvide occasional support for installation drawings and site-related queriesWhat We''re Looking For:Experience using ..... full job details .....
