Solicitor - Wills and Probate Department

My client is looking for an experienced Solicitor or Qualified CILEX Lawyer to join our busy and growing Wills and Probate Department in their Bolton office. Key Responsibilities • Manage your own caseload of Private Client matters from instruction through to completion. Advise clients on: • Wills • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) • Probate and Estate Administration • Court of Protection matters • Testamentary trusts and related estate planning matters • Draft Wills, LPAs and other Private Client documentation. • Prepare and submit Probate Registry applications. • Support and supervise members of the team, providing guidance and mentoring where appropriate. • Deliver a compassionate, professional service to elderly, vulnerable and bereaved clients. • Attend client appointments at the office, in care homes and at clients'' homes where required. • Maintain accurate case records and ensure effective file management. • Prepare correspondence and legal documentation to a high standard. • Ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales. • Contribute to the continued development and success of the department. • Take an active role in your own professional development and continuous learning. About You • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX status. • A minimum of 3 years'' PQE (or equivalent experience). • Strong technical knowledge of Wills, LPAs, Probate and Estate Administration. • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act. • Experience advising on testamentary trusts and ..... full job details .....
