Solicitor - Motor and Casualty, Belfast, £Neg Overview Pathway is delighted to be recruiting for a Solicitor to join a well-established and growing Motor and Casualty team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with 0-3 years PQE who is interested in developing their career within insurance defence litigation. You will manage a varied caseload of litigated motor injury, fraud and credit hire matters within the County Court jurisdiction, working alongside an experienced and supportive team. Previous defendant insurance litigation or credit hire experience would be advantageous, but is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with strong litigation experience who is keen to develop within this specialist area. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of motor insurance defence litigation matters from instruction through to conclusion. Handle cases proactively and identify the appropriate next steps in line with client requirements and agreed authority levels. Liaise professionally with insurer clients, policyholders, witnesses, third parties and other relevant stakeholders. Interview witnesses and prepare detailed witness statements.
