About the Role
A Solicitor (2-3 PQE) is required for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Crawley, operating under a hybrid working pattern. This in-house role sits within the European legal team of a global technology business, reporting directly to the General Counsel. The position offers broad exposure across commercial, regulatory, and advisory work. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, advising internal stakeholders on legal risk, and providing compliance support for European operations. The role is suited to a solicitor with two to three years' post-qualification experience. The salary is £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, plus benefits.

We are working with a global technology business seeking a talented Solicitor (2-3 PQE) to join their European legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to move into (or further develop within) an in-house role with broad exposure and direct support from senior leadership.
The Role
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in delivering legal, compliance and risk support across the organisation''s European operations. This is a genuinely varied position offering a mix of commercial, regulatory and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal risk and contractual matters
- Supporting compliance and regulatory activities (e.g. data protection, internal policies)
- Assisting with legal documentation, governance and record-keeping
- Liaising with internal teams and external parties to support legal processes
- Providing day-to-day legal advice across the business.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years'' PQE
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial/contracts
- Data protection
- Employment
- Regulatory / compliance / trade
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-legal stakeholders
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Keen to develop into a broad, business-facing in-house role.
