The firm advises a diverse client base across the UK and internationally, supporting on a broad range of corporate tax matters and transactions.Recognised for its technical expertise and pragmatic approach, the team advises on mergers and acquisitions, business reorganisations, venture capital investments, VAT matters, international tax issues and tax disputes. The practice is particularly well regarded for its work within the venture capital and growth company space, including advising on tax-efficient investment structures and share incentive arrangements. Your new role This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate Tax team in Guildford. You will work closely with businesses, investors and management teams, advising on a broad range of corporate tax matters and transactional work.Your responsibilities will include advising on the tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructures, drafting and negotiating tax deeds and warranties, supporting clients on VAT and international tax issues, and assisting with tax disputes where required. You will also be involved in advising companies on share incentive schemes and preparing applications relating to EIS and SEIS reliefs.
