Duties of a Soldering Technician: Removal, replacement and reflow of BGA components using an automated hot air convection machine. Surface mount land preparation for PCB and ICs using desoldering methods. Reballing BGA ICs; removal of solder spheres then attaching new ones using automated equipment. Visual inspection for any circuit shorts or insufficient solder after placement process using a microscope. Carry out board modifications based on customer specifications Maintain strict adherence to quality processes and highlight any gaps or improvement opportunities.
