The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components, with the ability to assemble and solder various parts with precision. Duties

• Assemble electronic components and systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform soldering tasks on both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
• Conduct inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty assemblies, applying mechanical knowledge as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with an understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers.
• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
