We have a great opportunity for a Solaris Consultant to join the team.Key Responsibilities* Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 environments.* Manage and support Solaris Zones (Global and Non-Global Zones) including provisioning, migration, and troubleshooting.* Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and security hardening of Solaris Servers.* Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and resolve OS-level incidents and problems.* Manage filesystems, storage, user administration, backups, and system recovery activities.* Support Legacy applications running on Solaris platforms and coordinate with application teams during deployments.* Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and technical runbooks.* Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution when required.Key Skills/knowledge/experience: * Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Solaris 10 and 11.* Expertise in Solaris Zones, ZFS, SMF, and Solaris networking and boot prompts* Good knowledge of OS troubleshooting, performance tuning, patch management, and system security.* Experience supporting enterprise ..... full job details .....
