Are you an experienced Solar Surveyor with strong domestic solar and battery storage knowledge looking for a role where you can take ownership of technically detailed surveys and progress into a broader operational position?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy company in a key technical role, offering long-term progression and the chance to influence systems and standards within an expanding business.

This company are an established renewable energy installer specialising in solar PV, battery storage and heat pump systems across the South East. They have built a strong reputation for quality and are continuing to grow through increasing demand, repeat business and an expanding project pipeline.

In this role, you will carry out detailed pre-installation surveys across domestic properties, confirming technical specifications, mounting systems, access requirements and full kit requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, reducing remedial works and supporting operational efficiency.

The Role

• Carrying out detailed domestic solar and battery storage site surveys across the South East
  * Assessing roof layouts, measurements, access requirements and installation constraints
  * Confirming material requirements, scaffolding needs and mounting system specifications
  * Using specialist software to create accurate technical survey packs and job details
  * Supporting operations by improving survey accuracy and reducing remedial works

The Person

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in solar surveying
  * Strong domestic solar PV and battery storage experience
  * Able to work independently and manage multiple daily site visits
  * Experience with design/software systems such as OpenSolar, K2 or similar
  * Full UK driving licence and based in or near Essex
