Solar PV DesignerLocation: Nottingham Salary: Circa 55,000 + Company Vehicle + BenefitsWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm, Fridays 9am-4pm Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleA well established organisation within the construction and renewable energy sector is looking for an experienced Solar PV Designer to support increasing demand across commercial solar projects.This position will focus primarily on the design and technical delivery of Solar PV installations, while also supporting clients, site surveys, and installation teams throughout projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign commercial rooftop Solar PV systems using PVSol or similar design softwareAttend site visits and assist with technical surveysWork closely with clients to discuss project requirements and provide technical guidanceProvide technical support to internal teams and customersSupport Solar PV project coordination and contract administration activitiesAssist with overseeing installation teams where requiredStay informed on industry developments, standards, and emerging Solar PV technologiesEssential RequirementsElectrical qualifications including 18th EditionRecognised Level 3 Solar PV qualification or equivalentProven Solar PV design experienceExperience using PVSol or similar Solar PV design platformsStrong IT and Microsoft Office skillsFull UK driving licenceAbility to obtain or hold an Enhanced DBS certificateDesirable ExperienceCommercial rooftop Solar PV project experienceProject ..... full job details .....
