Our client specialises in delivering building services solutions across commercial properties and is looking to recruit two experienced Solar PPM Engineers to support the maintenance, performance and reliability of commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) installations. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified electrical engineers with experience in solar PV systems who are looking to develop their careers within a growing renewable energy sector. The Role As a Solar PPM Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections and testing across a portfolio of commercial solar PV installations. You will undertake scheduled maintenance visits, identify potential issues before they develop into major faults, and help ensure systems continue to operate efficiently and safely. The role will involve producing detailed maintenance reports, analysing test results, recommending remedial works and maintaining accurate records of all activities completed. You will need to be proactive, technically competent and confident working independently while maintaining excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
