Solar Installer

Winberry is supporting a growing renewable energy contractor looking for experienced Solar Installers to join their installation teams on projects across the UK.

The successful Solar Installer will work on a variety of commercial rooftop and large domestic Solar PV installations, supporting projects from initial mounting through to final installation. This is an excellent opportunity for installers looking for long-term contract work with a busy and expanding business.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have a background in Solar PV installation, although electricians and roofers with relevant experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing Solar PV mounting systems and panels
• Commercial rooftop and large domestic installations
• Working safely at height
• Assisting with cable routing and installation works
• Working alongside electricians and installation teams
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Following all health and safety procedures on site

What We're Looking For

• Previous Solar PV installation experience preferred
• Electrical or roofing background highly desirable
• Comfortable working at height
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Happy travelling and staying away during the working week when required
• CSCS card preferred
• IPAF, PASMA or Working at Height qualifications advantageous
