Requirements NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2391 Inspection and Testing Battery Storage qualification (preferred) ECS Gold Card Previous Solar PV installation experience Own van and tools UTR and CIS registered Self-employed/contract basis The RoleCommercial Solar Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems. AC/DC electrical installation. Install and commission inverters. Work alongside roofing and installation teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently. Domestic / Social Housing Solar Install residential Solar PV systems. Fit inverters, smoke alarms and extractor fans. Typical systems range from 5-7 panels. All surveys and materials are provided.
