Software Testing Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software TestingEngineer to join an Integration and Missile Validation (IMV) teamwithin a Weapon Systems Simulation and Experimentation (WSSE)department, providing systems integration and testing for digitalsimulation and experimentation products. This is a dynamic and growing area, with the opportunity to workacross the full product lifecycle, from concept demonstration andproduct development through to systems integration and customertraining. You''ll be responsible for the end-to-end softwaretesting and proving lifecycle for one or more products withinsoftware simulation and emulation environments. Key Responsibilities: Working from formal requirements and customer needs to developcomprehensive software test plans, designs and specifications Understanding software design and architecture, includingdefining software test bed requirements Carrying out progressive software testing assurance throughoutdevelopment cycles Leading technical investigations into software defects andemergent behaviours Supporting software integration, trials and demonstrations withengineering partners and customers Analysing software logs and data to identify issues anddemonstrate compliance with requirements Executing formal software qualification testing Providing regular updates to project leads and stakeholders onsoftware functionality and progress Producing detailed software test and analysis reports forcertification purposes Supporting ..... full job details .....
