Software Tester

Software Tester - Southampton 2 days/3 days Remote - up to 35K

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to support the testing of customer systems and repeatable software solutions. The role works closely with project and technical teams to ensure high-quality system delivery in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with test planning and UAT management
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Test customer solutions before deployment
• Assist with user training and UAT support
• Write SQL scripts and work with XML/XSL
• Provide ongoing customer support post-go-live

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years'' experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong experience with Windows Client & Server environments

Desirable Experience

• ISTQB certification
• Test automation tools (e.g. Ranorex)
• C# or other object-oriented programming languages
• SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
• Source control tools (e.g. Git, TFS)
• Knowledge of document management and OCR technologies
