Software Test Engineer

Software Test Engineer Enfield, On-site Competitive Salary Responsibilities: Involved in developing and verifying software that underpins product and service offerings. Drafts and updates documentation related to software builds and testing procedures. Acts as a point of contact for technical discussions both internally and with external partners or clients on software-related topics. Contributes to enhancing software testability and overall quality. Carries out project-related duties as directed by leadership. Performs other relevant responsibilities linked to the position as needed. What are we looking for? Communicates effectively across a range of audiences. Competent in general computer use, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Familiar with the stages of the software development process, with emphasis on testing and integration activities. Experience with scripting or coding to support automation of build and test routines. Open to periodic travel, including time aboard vessels both within the UK and internationally. Approximately a year of hands-on involvement in testing software on Windows-based systems. Background in producing documentation such as test strategies, procedures, and outcome summaries. Exposure to assembling software packages and creating installation routines would be advantageous.
