      <description>Location: Luton | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Software Test Engineer    Luton    12-Month Contract     Paying up to -74p/h (InsideIR35)       Please note - due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UKSV Security clearance - please only apply if suitable       Key Responsibilities:    Create test cases, test procedures, and automated test scripts for embedded systems.  Perform integration, system, and regression testing on mission-critical software.  Collaborate with developers and systems engineers to identify defects and drive resolution.  Analyse test results, produce detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.  Ensure compliance with company standards and internal processes.       Required Skillset &amp; Experience     ISTQB Foundation level knowledge  Strong background in testing complex real-time embedded systems.  Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, or similar).  Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
