Software Quality EngineerSalary: £55,000 - £58,000 + Excellent Benefits,Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week 4 day working week Monday to Thursday Hybrid Location: Havant, or GloucesterThis role acts as the lead Software Quality Assurance (QA) representative for Lockheed Martin (LM) UK Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) (LM UK RMS) within Systems Solutions. Based at Havant or Gloucester, the role supports and advises on all aspects of regulatory and 3rd party certifications associated with the LM presence on various sites.Activities may include but not limited to:Software Quality Assurance oversight of the various programmes across LM UK RMS.Software Quality Assurance oversight of C6Cyber functional area (C6 - Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber-Defense and Combat Systems).Software Quality Assurance oversight of Merlin Mk2 helicopter mission system equipment and other aviation platforms.Inspection and acceptance of modification/up-grades carried out across Training Logistic Systems (TLS) in support the ongoing training of military personnel using a variety of simulator and classroom equipment and resources.Software Quality Assurance oversight of Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS)Software Quality Assurance across the CADMID cycle where required.Arranging, Planning and supporting audits from external (customer, regulatory and certification assessment) bodies.Engagement with external industry, Government and Military Quality Assurance staff.The Software ..... full job details .....
