      <description>Location: Reading | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Software Project Engineer    Location: Reading   Contract: 6 Months   Rate: Up to -80 per hour (Inside IR35)   The Role   We are seeking an experienced Software  Project Engineer to  support the technical delivery of Software Factory projects and initiatives.  You will act as the key technical interface between engineering teams and Delivery Management, coordinating technical activities, managing risks and dependencies, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.   Please note:  Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must  already hold a high level of UK Security Clearance .   Key Responsibilities    Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams and stakeholders.  Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and technical interfaces.  Support project plans, technical roadmaps, reporting, and forecasting.  Provide technical leadership and first-level decision-making.  Act as the escalation point for engineering issues.
