You''ll play a key role in shaping software capability, driving engineering excellence and delivering innovative solutions within a highly regulated development environment.What You''ll Be DoingAs Software Engineering Manager, you will:Lead, mentor and develop a team of software and firmware engineers, creating a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.Manage resource allocation, workload planning and performance development for a team of up to 8 direct reports.Oversee the full software development lifecycle from concept and architecture through development, testing, validation, deployment and support. Provide technical leadership across software, embedded systems and connected technologies projects. Ensure software development activities comply with relevant quality and regulatory standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485 and other applicable requirements.Drive and embed engineering best practice including code review, version control, CI/CD, automated testing and technical documentation.
