Software Integration Engineer

Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer for a contract role. This position involves the installation, configuration, integration, and testing of both new and existing software products, including internally developed applications, COTS applications, and the host operating system on bespoke target hardware. Your contributions will support system integration test evaluation and acceptance (ITEA) activities for podded airborne solutions on the NATO JEWCS programme.Key Responsibilities:Application of discipline domain knowledge to the development, integration and test of software components.Peer review of softwareProduce the documentation required to support the softwareContribute to the review of estimates, plans and progress reportsProvide support to the projects, systems and operations teamsApplication of, and compliance with, engineering processes and practices including engineering framework, and regulatory requirementsSupport the creation of test plans, procedures and steps relevant to software suiteManage test results; successes and failure management and evidence outputs to progress to required outcomesInvestigation of faults identified and associated debugging and rectificationCompile evidence in verification compliance matricesParticipate in wider verification/qualification activities related to the use of software applicationMaintain effective working relationships with internal and ..... full job details .....
