Maidenhead, BerkshireSalary range: £60,000 - £80,000The Malloy Aeronautics Team:Malloy Aeronautics Limited specializes in the development of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for civilian and military uses. Located in Berkshire, our operations focus on in-house design and manufacturing, enabling us to control most aircraft components on-site and ensuring high standards and innovation throughout development.About The Role:As a Software Engineering Manager, reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead unmanned air systems development in the UK. Your responsibilities include overseeing software development and verification, guiding software engineering projects, and ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. You will also mentor your team to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.Security Clearance:

Ability to hold Security Clearance; 5 years residence in the UK required.Key Responsibilities:Leading Software Development:

Oversee design, implementation, and verification of software, ensuring safety and reliability.Team Leadership and Mentorship:

Manage and develop a team of software engineers, establishing coding standards and documentation practices.Project Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and development roadmaps.Ensuring Compliance and Quality:

Maintain adherence to safety regulations and industry standards through rigorous testing.Continuous Improvement:
