Software Engineering Manager - Java, Javascript, CloudUp to £850 per day (Inside IR35)London/Hybrid (3 days onsite)6 monthsThis is a contract resource, so all candidates must come from a contracting background.My client is an instantly recognisable firm who are urgently recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager with experience of leading, coaching and managing large teams of Software Engineers. This role will oversee the Development teams of Engineers who are tasked with the Development and maintenance of Technology products.You will bring a passion for technology and deep technical expertise across a range of technologies (Java, Javascript and Azure/GCP for example) along with a proven track record of delivery and building high performing Software Engineering teams.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager in large, complex environmentsStrong track record of leading teams of Software Engineers, and building high-performing teamsHands-on technical background across Java, Javascript and cloud (Azure/GCP), including distributed systemsExperience in fast-paced, modern engineering environmentsExpertise in scalable architecture, reliability and performanceAbility to navigate and simplify complex technical challengesExperience delivering consumer-facing products (Front End + Back End awareness)Proven track record in driving engineering transformationStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsFlexible approach to hybrid working and ..... full job details .....
