Software Engineer

White Label is working with an engineering and manufacturing business in Leeds that requires a Software Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team. As Software Engineer, you will support the design, development, optimisation and deployment of electrical, control, instrumentation and automation (EICA) systems across a global product portfolio. Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, compliant and efficient control systems while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. My client is offering a salary of up to 55,000. 37.5-hour work week with 1 day of remote work 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays Pension Plus, other benefits Duties of the Software Engineer Producing electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical. Developing and optimising industrial PLC/SCADA control systems, including programming, software integration and troubleshooting. Supporting HMI and SCADA development and modifications. Assisting with testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant British and European standards. Supporting industrial communication network integration including Ethernet and CC-Link systems. Producing and maintaining technical documentation and engineering records. Working collaboratively with mechanical, process and systems engineering teams and wider stakeholders.
