Software Engineer - Unisys

Spencer Rose are urgently looking for a number of experienced Software Engineer with strong Unisys experience to join a technology team supporting a major Tier 1 banking client in Manchester. Location: Manchester (Hybrid) - 2 days a week in the officeContract: 6-12 months (strong possibility for extensions)Day Rate: £385-400pd Inside IR35 Key responsibilities: Develop, maintain and enhance applications within a Unisys environment. Work closely with engineering, architecture and business teams to deliver technology solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across existing systems. Support application modernisation and integration initiatives where required. Produce high-quality, well-tested and maintainable code. Key skills andamp; experience: Proven commercial Unisys experience. Strong software engineering/development background. Experience working within large-scale, complex environments, ideally financial services. Good understanding of SDLC, testing and production support. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a regulated enterprise environment.
