Software Engineer Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits The Role We''re working with an established digital technology business looking to add a Software Engineer (Web Platform) to their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern, cloud-hosted web platforms, building scalable applications used by a range of well-known clients. You''ll work across backend services, APIs and cloud infrastructure, while also having the opportunity to contribute to frontend development where appropriate. Working within a collaborative product team, you''ll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, helping to deliver secure, high-performing and maintainable applications using modern engineering practices. Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern web applications using C#/.NET and TypeScript. Build and enhance REST APIs, backend services and third-party integrations. Contribute to cloud-based applications hosted within Microsoft Azure. Work alongside engineers, designers and product teams to deliver new features. Help improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD and code reviews. Support scalable, secure and performant application architecture. Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
