Modernising and containerising existing applications for Azure deployment.Evaluating and implementing the right .NET framework version for each application.Adjusting and updating code to support dependency transitions and framework updates.Migrating message queuing systems, specifically transitioning from MSMQ to Kafka.Ensuring applications are cloud-ready without unnecessary functionality rewrites.What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role

Essential:Strong experience with

.NET 6–8

and C#.Deep understanding of SQL and relational databases.Experience with

Azure

(or AWS) and cloud-based architectures.Knowledge of

Kafka

for messaging and event-driven processing.Proficiency in

Docker

and containerisation.Strong experience developing and maintaining Web APIs.Preferred:Experience in cloud native application using

Azure

and

Kafka .Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.An understanding of WinForms and WCF for maintaining legacy applications.Role location and schedule

This position is full-time, permanent. The role is expected to be office-based in Coventry as part of the IT Development team. However, we have an agile flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home if desired.Benefits and application process
