Software Engineer - SC Cleared / SC EligibleLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne About the RoleWe are working with a leading organisation who are building a brand new Software Engineering team in Newcastle. They are looking to hire multiple Software Engineers across Junior, Mid-level, and Senior levels. Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must hold active SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain SC Clearance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, work on meaningful and technically interesting projects, and shape the direction of a newly formed engineering function. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Work collaboratively within agile, cross-functional teams. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design. Build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. Participate in code reviews and promote best engineering practices. Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production. Mentor junior engineers (for mid and senior level roles). Required Skills and ExperienceWe are open to candidates from a wide range of technical backgrounds. The technology stack is flexible, but experience in some of the following is highly desirable: Programming Languages: Python, C++, Go, Rust Cloud and DevOps: AWS or other major cloud platforms CI/CD pipelines Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform Monitoring and logging tools General: Strong software engineering fundamentals Experience working ..... full job details .....
