Following successful commercialisation of its technology within the research market, the business is now progressing the platform towards release as a regulated medical device. As part of this next stage of growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful Software Engineer will play a key role in transitioning existing research software into production-quality medical device software. Working closely with hardware, systems and scientific teams, you ll contribute technically while bringing practical experience of regulated software development, helping establish robust processes around requirements, traceability, risk management, verification and validation. Key responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain production-quality software for complex medical technology. Help transition existing research software into robust, compliant medical device software. Develop software interfacing with hardware, instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Contribute to requirements, design controls, traceability, risk management and technical documentation. Plan and execute software verification and validation activities, including unit and integration testing.
