Applause IT are recruiting an experienced Software Developer to join a global IT services leader, working at the forefront of sustainable technology and the circular economy.

As a Software Developer, you will play a key part in the design and development of systems that support their green ambitions - working with a team focused on sustainability, asset reuse, and responsible IT lifecycle management. You''ll contribute to high-impact digital platforms that support the reuse, redeployment, and recycling of IT assets across some of the world''s most recognisable organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and efficient functionality across core systems
• Build and maintain internal interfaces, reporting tools, and integration components
• Investigate and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Contribute to the architectural scaling of sustainability-focused platforms
• Estimate development tasks and manage delivery timelines
• Collaborate with analysts and SMEs to refine requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose code
• Maintain clear code documentation and conduct unit testing prior to release

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years'' experience as a Software Developer or in a similar development role
• Proficient in C# .Net, Blazor, and Entity Framework
• Experience with Azure services would be beneficial - Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Service Bus (ASB), and Logic Apps
• Comfortable with server maintenance, patching, and deployment pipelines
• Experienced with Git or Git-based version control tools (e.g. GitHub)
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Organised, collaborative, and adaptable to change
