Software Assurance Specialist

Our client, a leader in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Software Assurance Specialist to join their team in Bristol.Key Responsibilities:Provide software assurance across the full development lifecycleEvaluate engineering processes and identify risks or gapsEnsure correct configuration management and documentation controlSupport teams in meeting relevant standards, such as ISO9001Review requirements, design documentation, and process adherenceProvide objective assurance without executing tests or writing test scriptsEngage confidently with software and hardware engineering teamsBuild strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience with full lifecycle software development (design, coding, build, integration, release)Strong background in Software Engineering, especially Embedded C/C++Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into quality and assurance impactsInterest in a quality governance and process-focused roleConfident communication and reasoning skillsFamiliarity with configuration management, requirements management, and document controlUnderstanding of quality standards and auditing practices is beneficialAbility to influence without authorityBenefits:Dynamic (hybrid) working, 2-4 days per week on-siteOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEngagement in a cutting-edge defence and security environmentSupportive team-oriented work atmosphereComprehensive employee benefits ..... full job details .....
