A lovely welcoming All-Through School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term basis.

Sociology is a highly valued and increasingly popular GCSE subject, giving students the tools to understand the modern world around them.

The School is keen to appoint a specialist who can bring the subject to life through engaging discussion, current examples and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to question, analyse and form informed opinions.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Sociology at KS4 level
• Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons using contemporary, relevant examples
• Be able to inspire thoughtful discussion and independent thinking
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and a firm commitment to safeguarding-
