Sociology Teacher (GCSE and A Level) - September 2026 Start - KentSeptember 2026 - December 2026 (Potentially) Full-Time Pay to Scale Simply Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Kent to recruit an exceptional Sociology Teacher for a full-time, temporary position starting in September 2026, initially until December 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Sociology specialist who is passionate about their subject and capable of delivering outstanding lessons across GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate must have the subject knowledge and experience to teach high-achieving A Level students, including those aiming for the very top grades (A/A ). The Role Teach Sociology across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire academic excellence.Prepare students for success in GCSE and A Level examinations.Support students in achieving their full potential, including the highest attaining A Level learners.Work collaboratively within a successful Humanities department. The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.Is a Sociology specialist with strong subject knowledge.Has recent experience teaching Sociology at both GCSE and A Level.Has a proven track record of securing excellent A Level outcomes, including A grades.Demonstrates high expectations, excellent classroom management and a passion for student achievement.
