The Role

The Sociology Teacher will:

• Deliver intellectually stimulating and highly relevant lessons across Key Stages 3-5, covering core sociological theories and contemporary social issues.
• Guide students in analysing social phenomena, evaluating evidence, and formulating nuanced arguments.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of power structures, inequality, and cultural diversity.
• Contribute to departmental activities, including sociological debates and social justice initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Sociology Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:
