Team Manager | Youth Justice Service | North Somerset | -46 per Hour
Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the Youth Justice Service in North Somerset.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced manager to lead a dedicated Youth Justice team, driving high-quality practice and ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people within the youth justice system.
The successful candidate will provide operational and strategic leadership, supporting practitioners to deliver effective interventions, risk management and partnership working across the service.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a Youth Justice team, ensuring effective service delivery and positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Provide high-quality supervision, support and performance management to staff.
• Oversee complex and high-risk cases, ensuring appropriate assessment, planning and intervention.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure all statutory responsibilities are fulfilled.
• Develop strong partnerships with Police, Children''s Services, Education, Health and wider stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, quality assurance and compliance with statutory guidance and local procedures.
• Drive service improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the Youth Justice Service.
• Provide leadership within multi-agency forums and represent the service at key meetings.

Requirements:

• Social Work England Registration.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum 5 years'' Youth Justice experience within a statutory setting.
• Previous Team Manager or significant management experience within Youth Justice Services.
• Strong knowledge of youth justice legislation, safeguarding and risk management frameworks.
• Experience of supervising staff and managing performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working skills.
