Your Role As a Social Worker in Surrey s Safeguarding Service, you will: Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding intervention. Conduct robust risk assessments using Surrey s Family Safeguarding Model, which focuses on multi-agency collaboration to improve outcomes for children and families. Work alongside specialist adult-focused professionals such as domestic abuse practitioners, mental health workers, and substance misuse specialists to ensure a whole-family approach to safeguarding. Develop child-focused plans that promote stability and positive outcomes. Complete Section 47 enquiries, attend Child Protection Conferences, and manage court proceedings where necessary. Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to maintain best practices. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have: A valid Social Work England registration.
