Social Worker Safeguarding / Court Team (Permanent) Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Salary: £40,369 £43,686 (package up to £49,686) Golden Hello: £6,000 Contract: Permanent Pro Social Partners are working with Northamptonshire Children''s Trust to recruit permanent Social Workers into both their Safeguarding and Court teams. The Role Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans. Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessments and direct work with children and families. Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings. Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children. Keep children''s voices at the centre of all assessment and planning. Court Team roles: manage care proceedings and PLO, writing court statements and giving evidence. About You A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration. Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings. Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
