This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of adults who may be experiencing abuse, neglect, exploitation or other forms of harm. Key Responsibilities As an Adult Social Worker within the Safeguarding Team, you will: Undertake adult safeguarding enquiries and assessments in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Complete thorough and proportionate risk assessments, developing and reviewing risk management and safeguarding plans. Undertake duty work, responding promptly to safeguarding concerns, referrals and urgent requests for social care support. Assess the needs, strengths and desired outcomes of adults and their carers. Identify and respond to concerns relating to abuse, neglect, self-neglect, domestic abuse, financial abuse, organisational abuse and exploitation. Work collaboratively with adults, families, carers and partner agencies to identify risks and agree appropriate interventions.
