Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will work with individuals, families, and communities to support vulnerable populations, promote wellbeing, and help clients achieve positive outcomes. This role requires strong assessment skills, empathy, and the ability to manage complex caseloads effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks
• Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
• Safeguard children and vulnerable adults in line with current legislation and policies
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and other agencies
• Provide advocacy and emotional support to clients
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports
• Attend case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings when required
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Proven experience working in a social care setting
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in child protection, mental health, or adult services
• Knowledge of local services and community resources in Cardiff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
