Social Worker (Mental Health)
– Social Workers in Community Mental Health Teams for the London Borough of Bromley in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time role based in Community Mental Health teams in Orpington and Beckenham.Salary:
£39,709 - £47,509 per annum plus AMHP uplifts if relevant. In addition you will receive £1,500 annual retention and £1,000 Golden Hello and other excellent benefits.Hours:

Provide support to adults with mental health difficulties as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team; work with both community and in-patient services to promote independence and quality of life.Hold a manageable and varied caseload; participate in duty rosters as required.Undertake Care Act assessments to determine eligibility and address S117 needs outside the framework; make safeguarding enquiries as appropriate; consider capacity and best interests decisions.If AMHP qualified, work approximately 1 week in every 5–6 as part of the central AMHP service (off-site in hospital grounds).Collaborate with community health colleagues as part of a fully integrated MDT; support service users and their carers.Contribute to learning and development; access AMHP and Practice Educator training, plus bite-size training provided by the Local Authority and the NHS Trust.Qualifications and requirements
Social Work England registration and appropriate social work qualifications.AMHP qualification desirable but not essential; training provided when your knowledge and experience allow.Newly qualified social workers should apply through the website and by 1 September 2025 to join the AYSE programme.Benefits
