This is a vital locum opportunity where you''ll be at the frontline of safeguarding, making critical, timely, and evidence-based threshold decisions to protect children and support families.About the RoleThis role focuses on ensuring a child-centred approach in every aspect of decision-making. You''ll assess safeguarding concerns and determine the most appropriate interventions or support pathways, working within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess child protection and safeguarding concerns in line with the Hackney Wellbeing Framework and London Safeguarding Children Procedures.Use relevant legislation, guidance, and research to inform decisions.Conduct MASH checks by collecting and analysing information from professionals, partner agencies, and family networks.Work within agreed timescales to ensure prompt and appropriate action.Handle incoming calls from professionals, the public, and others, including urgent child protection referrals.Signpost to appropriate services or support pathways as required.Focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families through effective and proportionate safeguarding or early help ..... full job details .....
